F12berlinetta [Official] Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

The Ferrari F12berlinetta (Type F152) is a front mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Ferrari. Production: 2012-2017. Predecessor: Ferrari 599. Successor: Ferrari 812 Superfast.
0-60 3.6s and 1/4 mile 11.3, as fast as an old 599..
weight 3999Lbs - 1,818 Kgs, +119 than QR....
so strange test!

Yeah, and such rubbish results. Only 1.38.04 Laguna Seca lap time as well. This car can surely do much better. But... Where are other tests? The F12 was officially revealed 18 months ago. Customers have been driving the cars for some time. Yet we've only seen two tests so far. And this Motortrend one might have not even featured a press car since they mentioned no Ferrari people were present.

It would be nice if Ferrari stopped this BS and gave people cars to test.

so strange test!

Poor results, that for sure, both acceleration and the laptime. However, 100-200 km/h in about 6,3s on a dusty road, with wheelspin in second and third gear as well (as they claim) is not that bad.

I hope other italian and german mags will get to test an F12 soon.

What a shocker of a test, 6.3sec from 100-200km/h is still 0.9sec off Ferrari's claim but maybe dusty road can explain it.

The lap time is incredibly slow, it seems to take forever for the drive to get on the gas out of every corner..

QR did 100 3.0s., 200 8.77s (100-200 5.77s) and 1/4 mile @ 220 Kph using PZero

The F12 will definitely go down in history as one of the all time great Ferraris! I understand this car now.

It's not my kind of car, but for what it is, it's magnificent!

I understand this car now.

But could you handle it? The fact that he has to short shift to 4th gear in order to do managble slides tell the story about how immensely powerful the car is with traction control switched off. Yet it manages to look a elegant as a tuxedo. I would love to see someone pitting it against the One-77 to unveil whether all the over-engineering on the Aston is worth it.

PS. I'm glad Harris and Ferrari have hugged it out and found a way of working together. Now, they better give him access to a LaFerrari at the same time as other automotive journalists.

Remember Autocar, stay away from the ice. Launch Control only works well on the dry... ;)

You gotta love how the British love all their foreign owned "British" makes. It is an impressive collection of cars though, Phantom, Range Rover, Mulsanne especially. Jaguar doesn't have shite on any German make beyond looks and sound.

Why did Autoart test the F12 again? Didn't they do one a few months ago?
