2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport: Lightweight and Tuned to Handle

  • Bugatti hones the Chiron and gives the Sport version, which has the same power output and performance data, significantly improved handling and even greater agility
  • Dynamic handling package with stiffer suspension and new Dynamic Torque Vectoring function
  • Weight reduction of 18 kilograms

Excellent. More sport, less urban grand touring.

The weight reduction is a bit of a laugh, granted, but it's still a tremendous looking thing. A nice reminder that the Chiron is still the king of hypercars.

I guess special edition games have started again. *looks up current CEO of Bugatti* Yes, they definitely have.

These official photos and color combinations definitely don't show the Chiron in its best light, also can they please conduct a top speed run already, it is an open secret by now, it will do 450km/h plus.

Get ready guys...

I can't see the need for a heavy, petrol hypercar. If it is petrol it should be light (like AM RB or MB project one), if it is heavy, it better be electric. I'm sure that Rimac can destroy this car in every dynamic aspect with its total torque vectoring.

It looks good. But this is just the beginning. In the next five years there will be seven new versions of Chiron...

found this video where they have tested the Chiron up to indicated 424km/h.

Looking at the trip meter on the left side and chrono stop watch on the right side of the dash came up with these acceleration figures, which are shattering.

0-100km/h - approx. 2.2sec
0-160km/h - approx. 4.4sec
0-200km/h - approx. 6.3sec
0-250km/h - approx. 9.35sec
0-300km/h - approx. 13.75sec
0-350km/h - approx. 20.2sec
0-400km/h - approx. 32sec
1/4mile - approx. 9.2sec (245km/h)
1km - approx. 16sec (320km/h)
