@Matski I welcome your opinion on what the most the most sinister car is...

Okay, okay, I know it's a Van :D

Personally, what I see when I look at the Chiron is conspicuous excess, not brooding evil - and to be honest I hate the blacked out look... In the mid-eighties, when I was 8, I'd have probably thought it was cool, but now - especially on cars like this - it just reeks of trying-hard-to-be-cool social media types, I just can't look it at it and take it that seriously. And don't even get me started on 'stealth' look cars!

I'll fully admit that my distaste for things like this is probably driven by social media culture (especially instagram, which I despise)... but it is what it is, and the Chirons frowny headlamps don't make me think sinister, they make me think of the BB1-4 Honda Prelude.

I know a lot of people love this car, and I'll admit, in a nice colour combo it is a beautiful car in profile. It's also an engineering sledgehammer, which is kinda cool in some respects, so I'm not just trying to rag on the Chiron.

Dan is the man, just for having Zondas in the US.
Zero F's given breaking in that Chiron.

@Matski - 1 x WTF rating just for shits and giggles. o_O ;)
I'm not going to over-analyse the Chiron and its potentially contentious customer base; instead, as a car fan, I'm just going to love it for what it is. In the right colour scheme it can indeed be deemed as eminently sinister, in others spectacularly elegant (especially considering the sheer enormity of its performance) and in yet more, downright gaudy. It's a very taste-dependent machine.

Koenigsegg Agera RS Smashes Bugatti Chiron's 0-400-0km/h Record [w/Video]

I doubt that - you tape up gaps and things that disrupt boundary flow, they're just covering surfaces.

Looks to me more like protection (blade tape or leading edge tape) of some of the exposed carbon-fibre parts - can't be cheap to get a Koenigsegg splitter re-finished!

I doubt the performance of the Agrera RS is based on a standard car. The Chiron has a lot more power (1500hp vs 1160hp on regular gas) and torque (1600nm vs 1280nm) and it's also aided by 4wd traction so it should be faster accelerating at higher speeds due to the higher power. Acceleration at speeds above 250kmh will be combination of torque/power/gearing and aerodynamics, I don't think weight will be much of a factor. The Chiron is faster than the Agrera RS up to 300kmh (13,1sec compared to approx 14sec as per acceleration graph). From 300kmh onwards power/gearing and aero will be a big factor to determine the acceleration to 400kmh. The only way the Agrera can be faster than the Chiron from 300 to 400 if it has a much lower drag as the Chiron 340hp advantage will be a major factor to make it achieve a higher top speed and the extra 320nm of torque will be a major factor to make it achieve a faster 300 to 400 time.

"The Agera RS used for this 0-400-0 run is destined for delivery in the United States. It features our 1MW engine upgrade, providing 1,360hp and 1,371Nm of torque (1,011 ft lbs). The car is equipped with Koenigsegg’s optional and removable rollcage. The roll cage adds weight but is recommended for extreme track driving and as the cage can be removed in a few hours by a layman, it’s possible to switch between an ‘extreme’ or a more ‘elegant’ setup with ease, if so desired."

Amazing cars.

This one looks very classy:

These cars are made for pure enjoyment and maybe a little bit of showing off. I just love how people get so excited by them.

This belongs to the guy who owns the Sweeptail and other crazy hypercars. Dry and gloss carbon

The owner of this Chiron is very indecisive on spec. Before

Honestly, it's a terrible spec compared to what is possible.
