Chiron [Official] Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engine two-seater sports car designed and developed in Germany by Bugatti Engineering GmbH. It was manufactured in Molsheim, France, by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.. The successor to the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March 2016.
From a styling perspective, none of non-Chiron cars look good as compared to the Chiron. These special editions, with the exception of the Bolide, just seem like styling add-ons whereas the Chirons looks complete from front to end.

The “normal” Chiron is sensational I agree. Have you seen one in person? It’s much smaller than one expects. Beautiful.

Not yet, unless you count one seen in Lego form. I've seen a few Veyrons in person, I suspect they are similar in size as I was also surprised how much more compact it looks in person. I'd love to see one in the metal (and carbon).

Oddly enough, I wasn't very fond of the Chiron upon its debut as I thought it was a Veyron redux. But the more I saw pics of it, the more I liked it. I think seeing it in motion and hearing the noise in Carfection video really turned me opinion around. I feel the Chiron does an even better job than the LVN in capturing the original Atlantic's design ethos of less fussiness yet, nonetheless, grand.

I saw this Chiron last year and I can confirm it looks stunning in person.

And I can confirm this post. It's just draw dropping. True hypercar in every sense of the word, and, like said, very compact indeed.

Completely right. My dream two supercar garage is Laferrari and Chiron. Both are beyond stunning.

sadly I’m not on that level. A garage of 765LT and 992 TTS is as close as I can get to that dream.

"sadly" ?!? Heh heh, first world problems eh? Jo, you've got a garage that's out of this world, a 992 Turbo S is beyond my wildest imagination and then you add a 765LT on top of that. Pure fantasy for me.

I was lucky enough to get a good look at a Chiron in a Dubai dealer - we'll never see it on SA roads due to LHD restrictions - and it really is a spectacular event of a car. I always thought it looked terrific in pics; let's just say I wasn't disappointed. ;)

992 TTS really is fast. It’s almost as quick to 150 as the original Veyron.

oh how sweet progress is.

I guess when you examine progress, the average modern hot hatch is faster than the original 911 (930) Turbo 0-100mph too, so by extension, in another 45 years hot hatches should be faster than the original Veyron too.

I'm thinking that if they used E85 they could probably get 2000hp. Centodieci SS 2000 anyone.

Bugatti must struggle to sell these. They're already limited to only 500 in total. And even in that, there is about 4/5 variations with various ultra limited runs.

If Ferrari listed a 500 run car for $2.5-3mm it would be fully allocated in 2 days.

"Only" 500? 500 is actually a lot more than the production number of any other car over 2M. It's a pretty insane number, really.

Build numbers of some other 2M+ cars:
AMG One: 275
Rimac Nevera: 150
AM Valkyrie: 150+25
Mclaren Elva (2M with options): lowered from 399, to 249, to 149 (still not sold out)
Lotus Evija: 130 (not sold out)
Koenigsegg Jesko: 125
Mclaren Speedtail: 106
GMA T.50: 100+25
Pagani Huayra BC Roadster: 40

Ferrari had real trouble shifting the 1.6M Monzas, with having to twist customer's hands and telling them that they are not gonna be eligible for future limited models if they don't buy it. So would a 2.5-3M Ferrari model sell out in 2 days? Probably, but it would have to be the right model. From the production numbers of all the other hypercars you can get a rough idea of how many people there are in the world who could and would spend that kind of money - and it looks to be more in the range of 100-200. So Bugatti getting anywhere close to 500 is very impressive.

Monza? Lol it’s a toy. If they released a 500 run of LAF successor tomorrow at $2mm+ they would be allocated in a week.
