X5 [Official] BMW X5 (G05)

The BMW X5 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW. The X5 made its debut in 1999 as the E53 model. It was BMW's first SUV. BMW marketed the X5 officially as a "Sports Activity Vehicle" (SAV), rather than an SUV, to indicate its on-road handling capability despite its large dimensions.
I hear ya loud and clear, but after taking a huge depreciation beating on a GC in Deep Sea Blue/ tan I’d rather play it safe this time. It is a shame the entire car market has become this way this decade.

Congrats on the new purchase, the new X5 is fantastic inside out.

Deep sea blue is not that popular in the states? it's the opposite here. Usually the BMWs with nice shades of blue like estorile and deep seas blue sells better and faster than the plain and common silver, gray and white shades.

Congrats @sako97 . Is this going to be your new daily driver?

Daily driver for the misses. It's kind of comming full circle, as we briefly had a LCI E53 long ago.

We'll be trading in our RR (which I love) because she wants something smaller. Of course I had no real say, but I am glad the X5 was the choice.

If I recall correctly there were 20-30 or so Deep Sea Blue examples out of thousands of F06/F12/F13 6ers when I took delivery a few years back. Everyone here typically opts for non-metallic Alpina white, which has no depth or Jet Black... It's unfortuate because BMW does the best blues.

It's only recently that BMWUSA allowed people to option M Sport package with nicer colors like Mineral White. Early on if you optioned M sport you could only select Alpine white, Jet Black, Carbon Black, Space Gray, silver, or Imola? Red.

Big fan of the Deep Sea Blue and Macau Blue. Also dark the green on the E34 and E39. I feel like BMW and Mercedes are color choices are catering more towards the household canine than to us humans. Sad!

EDIT: Actually, what's sad is that I was susceptible to an old myth that dogs only see in black and white. I am wrong. Double Sad!

Out of curiosity ... what's up with the seat in the first two or even three pics? Is that really a shadow? Looks surreal ...

I’ve heard, not sure how true it is, that the X5 M will have 550 hp. The shooting is starting next week in Marocco.
Unlikely, the X5M will have over 600hp. If you are to consider the F10 M5 and F15 the new X5M should even have even more power than the F90 M5. The first ever X5M already had 555ps

I am surprised that the X5M would "only" 550hp as the upcoming X5 M50i (god, these naming conventions are ridiculous) that'll be an up date on the current 50i will adopt the M850i's V8 with 530hp. I thought the new X5M's V8 would at least be 600hp, if not higher just to provide a proper gap between the X5M and the M50i.
