Let’s hope the visual quality concurs with the haptic and longterm quality.I can’t get over the interior of the new X5 It’s drop dead gorgeous,it oozes quality. I go into the World Wide Web looking for new pictures of it.
I have no doubt it will.Let’s hope the visual quality concurs with the haptic and longterm quality.

I personally think that the X5 has the best interior of any new BMW, its combination of luxury and hitech and design seems the most coherent. A really stunning interior and one of the best in its class.I think I might a tiny bit prefer the interior of the X5 over the “eye candy” M850i .

Perhaps the same can be said about the shape of headlights and kidney grille?Little details like these matter. Shape matching. Nothing is random.![]()

It’s a pity you can’t rate your own posts because I’d rate this picture a “winner” as well.
Presumably the G30 interior is BAD design then, because the dials DON'T match?
The steering wheel in the X5 is just a generic BMW steering wheel used in several models. Yes, there is some coherence and it's certainly intentional for certain design styles to match, but it's hardly unique to BMW, and is pretty basic level stuff if you're a car designer. You seem to be very easily impressed when a car happens to have a blue and white roundel on the front.

Why do you always have to be so negative?
If someone continually said a car is "ugly", they'd be told to "give it a rest". Why should it be any different when someone is saying positive things?
Conversely, I would have though it obvious that if you don't like something you simply wouldn't engage with it (i.e. visit the thread), because... well, why would you?
