TT [Official] Audi TT RS Coupe / Roadster

I think the TT shouldn't be on the MQB platform in todays world. It deserves a RWD platform for sports car it claims to be.

The transverse layout doesn't add any form of practicality for this 2 seater, makes the standard FWD versions drive like a polo and gets beaten by its RWD 2 series rival

Let me clarify meant it's a reskined R8 in terms of how fast it is. It's supercar quick.
Straight line? Maybe. On track (as latest tests in sport auto and sportscars show) it is barely quicker than M2, which suprises me as ttrs is a bit lighter, has more power and better traction! So according to performance figures M2 must also be supercar quick? Or you are indeed only talking about straightline, where ttrs really shines.
Another thing, which wonders me... A good friend of mine is desperately waiting to be able to order a tt-rs here in germany. Audi is just putting him off until doomsday... latest feedback: end of june ... this is weird as first driving tests of magazines took place over a year ago and even the dealerships do have test cars for many months. Has anyone any info, what is the problem here with such a delay?

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
