That's how I'd paint mine, that's an impressive looking car. It also appears to have had some significant changes to the mockup.

Gentlemen, is the Valkyrie rwd or awd? I couldn't find a clear answer to that yet. :p

RWD, the entire front is dedicated purely to aero, they're not even running with a radiator up front which most if not all mid engined supercars do

Thanks! The AMG One is AWD. So the battle is going to be very interesting. :)

I've heard there are some problems with the Valkyrie's chassis. Does anyone know about it?

I certainly hope not. I want this car to live up to the hype.

That being said, I wonder if chassis issues are a result of Newey's aero/packaging requirements.

I’ve only seen one reference to any issues, that was from 2018 and some youtuber in America complaining about the packaging for taller and fatter drivers.

According to Auto Motor und Sport, the first chassis version was too heavy and Multimatic had to develop a second chassis version.

There are also additionaly problems like leaking fuel tanks, the cable harness wasn´t waterproof and the electronics sourced from Bosch lacked the fittings for the headlights.

Hypercars-Hype: Preise absurd, Power nebulös, Wartezeiten lang

Well yes there are “problems” with the chassis. You’re sitting in it angled towards the center. So the seating positions isn’t 100% even. It’s also small and i guarantee that not all people fit. But hey it’s still more comfortable than an F1 car

I was just going back to this car and was wondering what does @Sunny think of this car. You seem to be so into EVs right now, but there is little doubt this to be the best hypercar right now. A hybrid, yep. But what makes this car so special IMO is the aero, more than the engine.

Oh, I love this car.

FWIW, my appreciation of EVs is largely based on it being a way more simpler and efficient means of transportation. Quite different from my love for cars - which is based on how they drive. I think many often confound the two - their own personal choice of what car they like to drive vs what is objectively better mode of transportation for the larger society. And when the two don't align, you get the cognitive dissonance and the teeth mashing you see here often.

Well, this concept could proably be applied to an EV in a few years as well.
