as for the Mustang - it looks like the 10th facelift of the same body. Very unmoving design at this point.

Looks like a nice evolution, nothing crazy, but still good looking. Nice differentiation between the trims and the dark horse looks sick. The independent renders beforehand were surprisingly accurate.

Correct.

The car is based on the same platform as the predecessor. It's a big facelift offering a recipe that people are familiar with.

This approach won't be uncommon going forwards. Whilst ramping up investment in EVS, manufscturers will either:
-Discontinue some models
-Merge some models
-Simply extensively modify some models

What is "shite" what specifically? Some manufacturers favour evolution others revolution? it's obvious what the case is here.

I am not very impressed either. The exterior design isn't bad per se, but way too buttoned up and inoffensive for a Mustang. The interior looks pretty horrible, like a mish-mash of what five different committees and focus groups recommended. At least they kept the manual and the NA V8 I guess.

Not impressed with this. I was expecting at least a mild-hybrid version of the V8 with significantly lower emissions due to the electric battery. Weren't there rumours that the new Mustang would be All-Wheel Drive with 2 x electric motor on the front axle and an ICE V8 on the rear axle? Was it all BS? This looks like it's just a facelift of the current car.

Looks like a facelift,but the fact that the V8+manual is still available makes me happy. I'd take this over the M4/Z. As far as I know the next generation Camaro will be electric

I would still opt for an M4, however I think they did an excellent job with the redesign. Evolutionary but more contemporary, I especially like the rear end.
