Agreed, this is the first thing I thought of when looking at it. I wouldn’t say ahead of its time, just similar because Marc Newson was probably involved with this project as he works with Jony Ive at their design firm.

Maybe I am an outlier in thinking it’s not ugly, and it’s a quirky interesting looking car. But the fact that it is a Ferrari is absolutely insane and totally wrong. It would be fine as a 70k Apple Car or a Peugeot, but this being a Ferrari still hard for me to believe.

TBH the 296 and the 12cilindri are absolutely gorgeous, the Luce ist really the opposite.

is this essentially the long-rumored and killed Apple Car but with some Ferrari cues? I mean, that's the only explanation because not only is just off-putting but it's off-putting in the context Flavio-designed cars. Even in a vacuum, it's just so odd.

The Luce is a perfect example of Ferrari’s arrogance and self-importance gone completely overboard.
No one gives a shit about what Ferrari thinks a modern-day EV should be. We give a shit about what a modern Ferrari should be/will be. There's a big difference and they’ve completely missed the brief.

The interior looks livable. I love the perfectly flat rear floor. However it doesn't look ferrari.

They were affected by the Johnny Ive reality distortion field. The guy is master at using superfluous adjectives to describe corner radius, aluminium, buttons.

He was selling Ferrari the Jesus car.

Bear in mind that Ferrari have developed this car and its factory using €500m that’s been offset by EV related EU grants and tax credits.

I have been told that Ferrari will not be forcing cars on to dealerships with KPI targets. Production will be extremely limited and for customers who want some Ferrari DNA in an electric vehicle.

I hope it will be limited to one car only. I still refuse to accept that this is a production Ferrari. I will have two AMG GT EV over this.. whatever this is.
