Wow, indeed. Interesting looking car! Perhaps too much going on - makes a Lexus look like "sensual purity"?

It has a bit of the CH-R, the Rav4 and that Lexus all mixed together, it even goes further, it is markedly different from the previous one and I like that.

There is a bit of predator in the design. My hunch is that Hyundai are responding to Peugeot's very bold and expressive design.

It's a big departure from the Audi-esque and very good looking Santa Fe.

Personally, I find "funky" in the smaller SUV segment of the market quite acceptable. Nice interior too.

The Koreans used to copy the Germans in the design department. Now they are at least one generation ahead. Just compare this to the X3. AvH is sleeping.

I also maintain that there is reason for concern with regard to their current design direction. Perhaps more concerning is BMWs' approach to electric mobility-which I currently find a compromised business model. I'd be so pleased to see the company succeed, but have my reservations.

Ok, this looks seriously cool. The exterior design actually works, given the folded paper design language that debuted with the latest Elantra, and the interior looks marvelous and properly fresh and modern. What an amazing job from Huyndai! Kudos!

Whenever I come across a Santa Fe I'm amazed at just how premium it feels. There is a healthy chunkiness to the body sculpturing, the plastic cladding, the chrome accents, that all work together so well to create a reassuring feel that is very German premium-like and miles away from the hazardous exoticism usually expected from Korean brands.

The new Tucson is very bold and charismatic by contrast but will likely also be much more divisive.

Haha, you're really edgy.

This new Tucson looks horrible. The upside will be that noone will ever notice if you make a dent in the bodywork. It comes bent and dented straight out of the factory.
But what do I know? Looks like I am in the minority here.

Also, the front is a straight EQC ripoff, Chinese style.

Hyundai have come a long way in design compared to their Japanese copy cat cars from the 90's. I would say they leapfrogged most Japanese and even German cars in their design boldness and unique style. This car has some unusual elements, the headlight DRL shaped like the holes of the grill and the odd tail lights stand out from the crowd. Quite amazing shapes stamped into the doors and fender sheet metal. I can imagine it must be a feast for your eyes when seeing this in real life.

I like the interior, it is also quite daring and different and looks quite practical with its many storage trays.
