Sorry I meant V6s...I haven't looked up the 911 in a while and I just realized that they have cylinders...

That they do! You are right about the cylinder count as well, but they are most known for their flat sixes. :usa7uh:

Voted for the Nissan. It's fast, it's cheap (compared to it's competitors), it's impressing. But ... I'd buy the Porsche ;).

Very true... and it would not have been a 997 Carrera but a manual Cayman S.

And only Gt-R gives you a real super-car performance with such price-tag & reliability in this ring! :usa7uh:

Porscha for me, but in manual please.
GTR's impressive, way faster and more powerful, but... it's the 911 that I love! Emotions matter most to me in such a category, and the GTR falls a bit short compared to the splendid 911 in that area!

Porsche, of course. Good old fashioned german sports cars with huge V8s.

*** is happening to this forum?

Porsche is not German, you know, it is Bavarian :D

Because he picked Porsche?

My point is...nobody can build a sports car like Porsche Can. btw Bavaria is a federal state in Germany and Porsche is based in Zuffenhausen, part of Stuttgart, which is not located in Bavaria :D

Haha, ok, you obviously missed the point when he explained why he/she voted for the Porsche :D

What? I was asking why he said something was wrong.

He made the comment after the guy posted that he wanted a posrche.

My remark about Bavaria related to another funny post. Sorry, did not mean to put you down on your geography, as you are correct on that point. What was a little intriguing, however, was your remark on Porsche being a sportscar maker known for its huge V8:s.

Not for that price! Give us €30k more and I would agree :D

But as it stands, Cayman S before Carrera.

Ok, it's a bit OT but I meant that I'd prefer a used 996 Mk. II GT3 over the GTR (in Germany you'll get them for the same price).

Ok, BTT.

Edit: When the Evora came out, I was thinking about changing my Cayman S for it. It's a sporty and kinda unique car (at least in Germany) - but I can't get over it's Toyota Engine. I'd prefer the Artega over the Evora - even if it's VW-powered.

On the other hand, we all make mistakes. I once said I quite liked the Nissan S2000... :eusa_doh: ...and that time I was not joking (like I was regarding Bavaria*), I could not get into my head that it was a Honda. :eusa_doh:

Thanks guys. Sorry, we all make mistakes. I just realized that in one of my posts I said "I forgot that they have cylinders" when I actually meant I forgot they have 6 cylinders. I do most of my posting from the slim keyboard on my iPhone, so it's easy to make mistakes.

Porsche for me please, followed by the Lotus. The Nissan is an impressive piece of technology, but it's not a car I'd like to own... it's all a bit too Playstation for my taste.

Yip, a 5 star, 1.2 lateral-G, twin-turbo, transaxle-dual-clutch, ultra-rapid playstation's all that I need from this lot!
