Juke Nissan Juke Crossover

The Nissan Juke is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) produced by the Nissan since 2010. Debuted as a production vehicle at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March, it was introduced to North America at the 2010 New York International Auto Show to be sold for the 2011 model year as the smallest crossover in Nissan's lineup prior to the introduction of Magnite in 2020.

Nissan first announced in 2008 that it would launch a new compact crossover in 2010 to be manufactured at its Sunderland plant in the UK alongside the current Qashqai crossover (a European version of the Rogue). Then, last year, Nissan unveiled its radically-designed Qazana Concept, which previewed the new compact crossover.

Today, the Japanese automaker has confirmed the new model will be called the “Juke” and has released this teaser shot.

Set to go on sale in Europe this autumn, the Juke crossover will be revealed on February 10 before heading to the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March.

The Nissan Juke will inject some much-needed dynamism into the small car segment, offering European car-buyers an alternative to the traditional hatchback. The vehicle is a very important model for Nissan in the UK as it will fill the production void left by the Micra minicar, whose production is being moved to plants in Japan and India.

Sadly, there are currently no plans to introduce the Juke in the North American market.

From what i can see, i'd rather call it Nissan Joke Crossover...

:t-cheers:

You'd think they would have thought of that before signing-off on the 'Juke' name.

Looks like a baby Murano.. in the size of the X1 or even smaller if they're saying it's a replacement for the Micra.

My prefered name is Puke Crossover. Basically Nissan have taken inspiration from Toyota's Hakon Coupe Concept and the Fiat Multipa. Brace yourselves for ugliness.

I do like the wheel arches and the everything away from the front...but man...the front is really hideous.

The car looks fine. I'm sure if we put a German badge on it, everyone would be singing it's praises.

Amazing.....if it's not the GT-R, they don't want it. :eusa_doh:

Sure has the essences from Murano's profile! I like the idea of the mini-hatch & mini-truck together! I hope the real deal is something close to the teaser! :usa7uh:
