Never liked Mario and Zelda (link) is the Lamest F__king hero ever. In all the freaking nintendo games, it's always one idiot trying to save the F__king princess. F__k that bitch. :D

Just.....OMG...I have no words....

What both Mario and Zelda have done for the game industry is more than all other games ever made combined did. Nintendo is the all time game king as far as I'm concerned. Mario Galaxy on Wii is just pure genious, some of the best stuff of the whole generation. Zelda Wii will be a monster!

Then again, I love my PS3 Slim too, and the Uncharted 2 beta is just unreal....

Ok here i can't argue but anyway who gives a damn about it ? :D the gameplay is so much fun and superior to everything else that's just criminal to criticizing those games :D

I'm a former hardcore gamer who skipped out on the PS2/Xbox generation of consoles and only bought the Wii because my wife sorta prodded me into it.

That said - The kind of fun we've had playing Wii in family and social gatherings has been priceless. I even got my uncle who's well into his 60s to enjoy a game of tennis. If you're a "gamer gamer" this kind of stuff obviously isn't a factor, but the Wii is really a different creature and has created a new function for gaming in the household that previously didn't really exist.

I've played lots of PS3 over at my cousin's place. I've been blown away by the graphics of games like GTA4 and Street Fighter 4, but after the 'wow' factor settles I'm presented with the same gaming mechanics that I've been familiar with for 10-odd years. I just get really, really bored with that shit.

Far as Wii games go - Most of the high-profile titles don't appeal to me either. I bought Smash Brawl and was totally bewildered - if there's something to this game I'm definitely not getting it... Zelda and Mario games really don't appeal to me... In fact, the Wii might be gathering dust were it not for buying Metroid Trilogy a few weeks ago. Using the Wiimote to navigate through a FPS-style game is really intuitive and somehow makes me feel more 'in' the game. I never played any of the Metroid Prime games, so I'm really having a blast.

I know that MS and Sony are working on motion controllers for their consoles, but really - those kinds of peripherals are doomed to fail just like any other non-standard device that's been pushed on gamers over the years. There will be a small base of adopters, and said base will have few games to choose from since developers will have that whole chicken/egg installed user problem to deal with.

Anyways - If they drop the PS3 price another $50 or so I'd definitely be inclined to buy, if only for the BluRay player and GT5.
I also used to be a f hardocre gamer but 90% of my passion is gone, not that there's less good games but i dunno it just leaves me cold nowadays, although i should say that many many good things are leaving me cold nowadays.

yeah MG is good but SM 64 is still unmatched in my book, where did you get uncharted 2 ?

Personally, I liked the old school Mario and Super Mario games, but that's because there was nothing else back then. Then I got a Sega Genesis, and a whole new realm opened up. Then PlayStation came out and I never looked back at Nintendo. My friend bought the 64 while I had the PlayStation. The best game he had were Mario 64 and Goldeneye. Even then, I liked Goldeneye more than anything else for that console. But Playstation is what changed the game and is still doing it today. It brought more adult games and none of that "ooh, let's save a f__king princess" BS. MGS = Awesome! Gran Turismo = Awesome! And a multitude of other games. So do I miss going on a quest and saving the same chick over and over again? Hell No. If you think Mario Galaxy is some of the best stuff, you don't really know games, IMO.

The only thing that still makes Nintendo relevant these days is Nintendo fanboys and Nintendo's Marketing. They can keep churning out the same crap (which they have been doing) and people will still buy it because, for some reason, just like Apple, people think it's the best sh!t ever, even though it's inferior to everything else out there.

Personally, besides the little sports games, the controller is full on wacky. It just doesn't have the precision that they advertised and, and really though, you don't have to jumping around like a F__king monkey to play those sports games. They are sensitive enough to be played while sitting down. My biggest issue. If me and a friend are gonna be jumping around and pretending to be playing B-ball in my room, we'd rather just go F__king play it in real life.

The best game he had were Mario 64

N64 was a good system. GameCube was in and out real quick. The best Nintendo system was super nintendo as far as mario games, but 64 was great as well. Wii's major bonus was the controllers. When XBOX 360 and PS3 get them it will be interesting to see how the Wii does. All and all the Wii is fun, but if your looking for hardcore gaming, PS3 is your best bet.

N64 wasn't a bad system, it's just that it gets quite tiresome playing the same F__king game over and over again. I'm sick of Mario and Zelda. Those games just don't appeal to me anymore, especially with the new controllers. For me, the Wii was fun for about 10 mins and then I got bored. My little cousins have it, and I played "boxing" with them for like 10 mins and was like "Wait a minute...why are we playing this on here when I can box you two fools. C'mon, lets see if you both can take me on." My little cousins had WAY more fun trying to jump on me and take me down with their weak ass punches then they did playing the Wii boxing game against me. Wii is for the most casual of casual gamers and those who just want some light hearted fun without breaking a sweat.

Like I said, I want to play games with a purpose, skill, and all out fun; basically something I can't do in real life. If it's something I can do in real life, I don't usually buy a game for it. It's the same reason I haven't bought Madden or any other sports game in years. I've recently been playing the hell out of Batman: Arkham Asylum. Why? Because I'm not Batman and can never be, but it's sure as hell fun to beat the living crap out of 20 guys in one combo. And that type of game can only be done on a conventional controller, none of that gimmicky "wave your hands around" BS. I hope when 360 and PS3 get their own gimmicky controllers, they figure out a way to better implement the control scheme and make it more useful than a gimmick.

:t-cheers:

Uncharted 2 multiplayer only demo is available now in the Playstation Store...

HOH: that pic of Mario is from Super Smash Brothers. Super Smash Bros is developed by Nintendo HAL studio, while Nintendo EAD (Entertainment, Analysis and Development, led by Shigeru Miyamoto) is responsible fore the 'main' Mario platformers (like Mario 1/2/3, World, 64, Sunshine and Galaxy). Nintendo's EAD studio is responsible for some of the most iconic and influential games ever made in history (like Zelda: OoT), and that is not open for debate. They keep on re-inventing themselves every single time.

I like Nintendo EAD more than BMW, to give you guys an idea....

PS3 - Best Graphics, easy to use controller (the X360 controller is like holding a football), Playstation online access is FREE (Unlike live) and the blu-ray is a big bonus.

XBOX 360 - Has a bus load of games, has HALO (which isn't all that), GTA 4 episdoes exclusive (im getting that) and more people have it then PS3 (Might change after price cut, since PS3 slim sales have went up dramatically).

Wii - Good clean family fun, Mario (Best video game personality ever especially when Yoshi is involved :D ), the controllers are the life line for this system and Zelda is a Beast.

Thankfully I have all three! :D

I would have to say I use the PS3 the most because of the graphics, blu-ray player and the controlls are simple to use. One of my favorite this is that you can still play PS2 games on it as well (if you have one of the older models as PS3 Slim does not have backwards capability).

I would say I rarely use my XBOX 360. It does have great graphics and is generally fun to play, but I pretty much use it as a back up or if an XBOX 360 exclusive comes out.

The Wii is mind blowing fun and I have always loved Nintendo games. It almost takes you back to your childhood. I rarely use it since I play games like Mortal Kombat, GTA and more hardcore games that Nintendo doesn't offer.

To be honest, you really can't go wrong with any of these systems.

PS3 - Best Graphics/ Blu-Ray
XBOX - Wider selection of games
Wii - Family Fun/ Innovative controllers

It all depends on what your looking for!

Well I bought a 360, has good games graphics are not as good as a Ps3 but they are still good. Also the controllers are much better for the big handed!!

Ps3s have never really interested me, not as many games i'd be interested in plus Ps3 online is slow..

Nintendo wii's are very enjoyable! May not have the best games or graphics in the world but they games are very fun and you can get friends and family involved!

As for N64s, I still have one somewhere:D:D
