X3/X4 Next X3: Spyshots & CGIs

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.
Looks just great here:

VERY nice. Any day now hopefully....

Seeing the camo decreasing and have come to the conclusion that this car suits the darker colours rather than the lighter ones.

The one thing that I remain a bit concerned about is the front lights. They look really awkward, but that's dependent on the lower outer corner. If it doesn't sweep up cleanly it could be disastrous. Unfortunately that's what the renderings look like, and that's the easiest way to manufacture the surrounding panel. Oh well.

@ Scott27:

Dear Scott,
Could you explain me/us the reason why BMW did not kept on the new X3 35i one tailpipe on each side like on 335i and 535i? On the picture seen here it seems that it has both tailpipes on the same side. :eusa_thin

What is the engine of the X3 in question? Without knowing that how can you possibly come to your conclusion?

Sorry, I edited my post. I was thinking at 35i (N55). the 2.0d and 3.5i will be the first models introduced and sold here in Europe. And by what I read on this forum the press-day organized by BMW there was only these two models showed. Diesel 20d has only one tailpipe. So the other model is supposed to be the 35i. The new 5 serie with the N55 engine got (like on the actual 3 series 35i/d) one tailpipe on each side. So why it is not so with the new X3 35i? (is my question more clear, understandable?)

Hmm...I think it's quite smart marketing this time.... The X3 isn't quite ready yet, but test drives like these WILL keep a few people from buying the Q5/GLK and wait a bit for the X3.

It's not just that. It's good for 1 day. I received that first teaser-mail with some images nearly a month ago and this is still going on. I never liked these endless releases, no matter what the brand.

Or it could make them go buy GLK/Q5 and not wait for X3 cause it doesn't look too enticing at least not with all that camo.

Or that. But they would have gone for Q5/GLK anyways if they didn'tknow a new X3 was about to hit the streets. No sane person in this world is going to buy the old X3 halfway 2010, so at least now they know about the new X3 :)

Looks like it won't have the new white LED-Corona's:t-hands:. Or what do you think? (Scott?)

The answer seems to be yes...and no.

This first photo shows the car with the new blue-ish corona rings, but the second shot shows it with the older yellow rings. Could be that the old yellow-ish rings are for the base model, and the new LED tech' blue-tone corona rings are for the upper-range models.

:t-hands:

well, it could be, the one without them seems to have unpainted bumpers ( but that could be tape, hard to tell ) supporting that theory) Nothing wrong with that. done throughout the industry.
