They’re not playing about getting rid of that 4-cylinder. I get it tho, the GLC sells like hotcakes. I have seen a lot of GLC43s too. The damage and sales lost with this 4-cylinder strategy in the AMG C,GLC, SL will takes years to heal, if at all possible.

The GLC will be first and then the C will probably come next month. The SL53 and GT 53 need to come soon as well. Good riddance to the terrible 4-cylinder 43 and 63 models and HOORAY to inline 6s 53 models and V8 63 models. The OLD AMG will be back!

I'm guessing this will shake out like this, at least for US models. The 2027 model year GLC will not be a facelift, but obviously the GLC53 will replace the GLC43 and the GLC63 will be dropped. The 2027 MY C-Class will be a facelift with the C53 replacing the C43 and the C63 will be dropped. The 2027 MY CLE will carry over. For the 2028 model year, the C63, CLE63 and GLC63 will arrive along with the facelifts for the CLE and GLC. Fingers crossed that these new "63" models will all have the new V8. The 2028 MY E-Class will be a facelift along with a new V8 E63 and the E_Class EV.

One another note I hope the C-Class facelift includes a C400/450 model with an I6 to bridge the gap between the C300 and C53. That would be really nice in our market and finally get rid of that weak 255hp I4 in all the C, GLE, E, entry level 300/350 models. They need 290hp I4 at least.

Yes, I see this moving MBs bottom line up again
Good call by MB, these will easily move 500k units a year, particularly the Mythos and BS.

It's an amazing strategy by Mercedes really. Make the base models so poor people will flock to the 300k+ special cars!
