I spotted a regular touring version of the Impreza yesterday and was suprised at how proper the tailights looked. Thought they'd look ricey, but thankfully they don't - or at least as far as I'm concerned.

Bah,Subaru messed up alot what was good with old Impreza IMO.It just doesn´t look that superb like old one did.I don´t know,maybe in time everything will come in it´s place .

Oh, I have no doubt that this new STI will be the best looking Impreza yet (ok, the sublimely pretty P1 was arguably better but that's a long time ago) and based on my experiences with the new WRX (I've driven all the new Imprezas...) this new STI going to be a sure fire headturner.

Was invited to Kyalami this past weekend by Subaru to commemorate the launch of the new WRX STI Group N Production Racer. Subaru owners club was there en masse.

The best looking Scoob on the apron? The 2009 WRX STI. It looks far far better in the tin than anyone here ever gives it credit for. I love it. Now, if they'd only change those tail lights to something like those that vroom posted...

You would have to look into those aftermarket parts. I have seen some which looks exactly like the tail light of the Maserati GranTurismo

Word on the street is that Subaru are soon to be releasing an updated Impreza with less riced rear lights.

I love the rear lights on the blue STI. Hints a little maserati gran turismo. Always liked the STI more than the Evo just in terms of look.
