This RS is going to be sold in the USA- the dealer network knew about it last November and when they told me I immediately put down a deposit.

Lucky you!!!:usa7uh: You get "baller of the year award '06", congratulations.:t-cheers:

Interesting that the wheels and model designation are only orange or black. I'm guessing with silver you'd get black wheels just like orange exterior, while on a black car you'd get orange wheels (not sure how much I like that idea). Green would depend on how dark the green actually is. I can't imagine liking a green Porsche with orange decals and orange wheels though. I'd love to see what the green is that they are coming in. I'd probably rather have normal silver wheels on a green car, though.

I think this car would look best in white!

Do you think you could get it in the same colours as the 996 RS, eg white with red wheels and stickers, or blue wheels and stickers?

I'm sure if you went to Porsche with the right amount of money, anything is possible.

My dealer called me today- this is the first day they can put in orders for 997 GT3. They wanted to verify I wanted to wait for an RS or order a GT3 today- I said I'll wait!!!

Any idea what color combo you'd want?

Definhitely the orange, just like in the pics.
my wife has even approved of it already
Haha, I guess I'd be fine with one orange car already.

It sounds just like an RS car should, though I do prefer engines with a more roaring and deeper sound.

Yes, I prefer the the deeper sounds too but this does sound the way I'd expect an RS car to sound too, and it sounds pretty good....
