Does anyone know what speed they launch at? Might get an event like this arranged at england. I take it that the people taking part have to pay a fee?

Not that I heard of. When I've been there is been for free and I have never heard of people paying a fee.

oh ok, I take it m5board must get the money back they pay to rent the airfield through the extra visitors to their site or something?

They sell DVDs of the events and I guess also additional traffic to their web site. Also I doubt they pay much for that airfield, if at all anything. I think it is some deserted airfield that belongs to Koenigsegg and he lets them use it once a while. I could be wrong though.

What Sunny said. Webhits, dvd and commercial. However, I haven't been on the airfield meetings for a long time now so it might have changed
