Hi, I'm new and I have a Mercedes C-Class as well
Hey guys, welcome to the forum! It seems like there are more than few W205 owners on this forum, and everyone is very knowledgeable here so feel free to ask us anything or share your ownership experience!.

Hello all, I'm Ryan Thompson. I have just joined this forum and I'm thinking about to buy Mercedes CLA. Can anyone tell me which CLA model gives better performance than Mercedes C 250? I hope this forum will help me alot and I 'll get some more knowledge regarding Mercedes.

Hello Everyone.. I am new in this forum and i own Mercedes S350 2003 (W220)
Joined this forum to get one specific piece of info from you all through your best expertise...

I have heard its a very common issue in W220s..
The car after i start driving would show error "Pre-Safe Inactive..Check Owner's manual"
once this error appears, my car doesn't shift the next gear and if i stop and put it in Neutral and then D again, it will take interval of 5-6 secs to respond and then move, same is the case if i apply reverse (R).
there is no acceleration at all.. a mechanic suggested to fix the transmission oil leak since there was a leak and the chamber is empty with no oil inside, and he said it will keep happening until i fix the leak. Once fixed, the oil will stay there and the sensors would work fine..
i did fix the leak, changed the oil, filter, seals a week before etc but nothing changed...
could some one pls advise with their expertise with the solution...
thanks..
