3 Series (E90) My quick BMW impressions (X5,5er fl, E93)

Went to my BMW dealer today, swedish premiere for X5, 5er fl, 1er fl and 3er Convertible.

E93 - Im all up for the idea with proper roof, the car still manage to look like an E92, keeping the coupish style.

5er FL - BMW claim the interior materials been improved, there was no prefacelifted 5er to compare with but I dont know what improvements thats been done, I didnt feel any difference. However, the interior has high quality, no doubt about that.

X5 E70 - Wow what intense moment, what a precense and o'boy the car is big. And the new gearlevel, it looks cool and felt good to hold it. I got a flashback, felt like I was playing on my old commodore 64 with a joystick. The joystick gave me an awesome moment.
The new X5 definitive is my favorite SUV at the moment.

1er E87 - I was hoping to see the 3door 1-serie but they only had a 5-door version becuase the 3door isnt coming until May month. They had a 170hp 120i (5-doors) and great to see the redline starting at 7000 rpm

Oh btw, in May I've booked a testdrive with a 3-door 120i

If you talk to me I refuse to take photos of cars that stand inside the dealer and people walking around.

Can't wait to see the X5 here in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping it will help me win some ground over my dad and brother who are still arguing a case for the M-class.

I can really understand you're uneasiness... I don't like it, too, when people are walking around...but I took some photos anyway!

well, I dont know any % showing how better it is. I can only say its better than previous generation. I'll simply let you making your own judement when the car comes to Australia.

According to german comparisons with Q7, these carmags give same score to both Q7 and X5 for material quality.

Wow , i 'm impressed.

In the luxury SUV segment all products (ML , X5 , Q5) are so good that no matter what someone chooses it's sure that he will be thrilled.
