My New Car USED GLC 220d

Hi all purchased a used GLC 220d 2 weeks back..

Got a very good deal i think and decent kilos and a good price in my old GLC 2019 shape.

So I got a GLC 220d 2023 year model
well specced with 19000km.

Blind spot assist

Premium pack

I have a light interior so need to keep it clean any tips are welcome

Just did stage 3 ceramic coating today

Compared to the old GLC big step up

The ride and handling is like 3 steps up

The 48volt makes a huge difference on the initial pick up.very smooth and instant.

The build quality is much better thankfully

Overall I think its a amazing medium sized SUV.

Don't use it.

If, indeed, you got the car to drive around with, I'd suggest regular leather care. I have similar colour leather seats in my E39 and I wear jeans, pretty much every day. Once a month I do a thorough wash of the driver seats with general purpose cleaner, then leather cleaner and finally leather sealer and they look in top condition, despite their 25 years of age.

Awesome! Does it feel drifferent to drive than the old one? Any good or bad stuff?

I have kids and have had light coloured interior without issues. When I sold the cars, they all look fresh. This despite kids occasions ally getting the seats soiled.

Once every 3 months I used Autoglym:
1. Leather cleaner.
2. Leather feed.

1 cleans the seat. 2 adds a barrier which means that if someone spills chocolate or mud on the seats, the dirty would sit on the feeder and not in the leather grain.

The comparison vs old

I found the old one a very boeing drive. I did have the standard one. This one handles better and supeiangly more comfy and definitely quieter.

The 48v battery really helps when you just take off.. instant response.

It also feels little roomier especially in back seat.

The best part is the new MBUX compared to old.. I have done already a 1000km and several short trips the MBUX is amazing the centre screen took me a few days tonget used to.

Now I hit the buttons easier. The app buttons are big enough and the operating system smooth.

Voice also works very well.

I did drive the new X3 and I know some will hate but the quality of the interior was a step or two down compared to GLC the AC usage on x3 is a mission.

I think the previous x3 had a more solid interior and better quality plastics

The best start stop system I have used ever

By far better then my A35

I haven’t really notice it so I guess that means it’s going a good job
