i think i am stupid or something but i dnt seem to be able to upload the pics here ....
anyway about car car...i love it and i am very very happy...i have also the old generation c270cdi and the previos c280 at home....
well this one is really in a different class,,,the quality is best from all three i think....
hey the interior is very nice and spacious and lovely to operate everything...
1st time i ahve used the command knob and it is very easy to use my radio cellphone and navi ...very very easy
the power for a 220 cdi i must say i have been really impressed ,i was expecing less power as yet i have only used my car in c mode not sport bec its still new want to run it in before i start driving more faster,,,
the gears are responsive even in c mode..i think its bit more power then old c270 but they very simalar..the handling and ride is superb i live in a mountanious area and very windy road it handled very well i havent pushed it toomuch...
the ride comfort is excellent its a vantgarde i preusmme the elagance is even more comfy,,but this is very comfortable car ..i think best in its class ride wise
i dint like the headrests i dnt know why it just felt not perfect for me ...
i also wish i could have got the iterior in full grey or beige but u cant get avantgarde with beige in sa..
also i reccomend harmon kardon sound i dnt have it but sat in a car at the garage with hk and its superb quality

Hi Fortuner, I bet you could'nt sleep last night.
White is the colour to have, unfortunately, I wasn't brave enough.
I just got a call from mb collection centre, guess what, my car has being built almost a month earlier than advised. It is ready and waiting at the collection centre in Stuttgart.
I will fly over to Stuttgart sometime next week or the week after to pick it up

hey guys thank you to all of you...
its really a special feeling for me first time to share my car with all you car enthusiasts ..atleast you guys all no how it feels to get a new car...
i appreciate all you guys response means a lot to me thanks...
hey i love the car the white is awesom when i went to fetch my car they received a silver and a goldish coluor at the same time and i tell you the white just stands out ...awesome...
hey let me tell you my storry i havent slept for past week or two every day dreaming my car would come..i was to get it on 21st but got it on 30 aug...
well the car came to the dealership at 7 at night it came by carrier i arranged myself with the mechanic to pd service my car and picked it up at 9 at night i could not wait another day..
it is by far the most easiest merc to drive the steering is beautifully weighted maybe a bit light for the older folks my brother felt it lighter then normal mercs ,i found it awesome...
it handles beautifully grips the road 100 times better then my old c270 cdi..
i think the power of this 220 and the old 270 is like almost identical i cant decide whish has more power ...maybe after a week or so once i start driving a bit faster i will know at the moment i am just taking it easy...
the interior is superb if you havent seen on in live dont comment bec the pics are deceiving..i hated the dteering in pics but its very very nice in real ...could have been a little thicker maybe...
i didnt like the front headreasts too much and i feel the window operating buttons wont last too long the rest is almost perfect...
hey those mirrors are huge maybe the command screen should be in there they so huge...u can see everything at the back..its even bigger then my ml320cdi mirrors...
the fuel consumpyion is so far not what i wanted but maybe its bec its still new and my brother who wont listen when i tell him let the car break in before you push it ..he says all new cars are ready to push from day one///
