I drove the new EVO IX today. 4WD, Turbo and 280 hp. The steering is very light, maybe a little too light for me but I think you get used to it after a while. The gearbox is precise and the gears are very "tight", perhaps one of the best gearboxes I ever tried?
I drove over some potholes and the suspension is very stiff, much more than a M3. The car almost bounced when I drive over those potholes
As you guys know, I tried the Impreza a few weeks back.

I think the Impreza has a hotter interior, feels a little more luxury. Driving on freeway the Impreza feels more comfortable and I think it mainly depends on softer suspension setup. The exterior round goes to the EVO IX.
But the EVO was more fun to drive, the acceleration was more noticable. I think both these cars are equal in the handling department, perhaps a slightly advantage for the EVO?
If I had to choose between EVO IX and Impreza, I would go with the EVO. Those two have the same concept, 4WD, Turbo and huge rear wings. Of course I would love to drive these both cars for a whole day to be sure about my choice but that didnt happen so I can only judge them by the amount of time I spent with them.
I prefer the exterior of the EVO but the interior in Impreza feels more well-built and it looks better. But since these two cars are about fun and since the acceleration in the EVO was more noticable, I pick the Mitsubishi EVO IX.
Unfortunaly I dont have any photos this time because my Ericsson K750i died on me last night
Stupid phone! All I can tell you is that the car was red with black interior combined with carbonfibre panel.
