I couldn't quite place this car. The front looks suspiciously BMW-like, but the badge was something different. I am not aware of BMW having outsourced one of their car designs to other firms. If I recall correctly, the name of this car was "Veritas" but I am not quite sure. Anyone have any clue what this thing is? Alright MikeJ, tell me what this is! :D

Veritas - Germany 1946-1952:
Founded by ex-German motorcycle racing champion Ernst Loof and some ex-BMW employees, Veritas first built sports and racing cars with the pre-war 1971cc BMW 328 six-cylinder engines. It also produced a few coupés and cabriolets with this engine, as well with ohc 1899cc six-cylinder Heinkel motors. In conjunction with the French Panhard factory, Dyna-Veritas cars with ohv 744cc flat-twin Panhard engines were also built in small numbers. Lack of sufficient funds eventually led to the demise of this make, which also produced Meteor 2-litre FII racing cars. Successful Veritas racing drivers included Kling, Pietsch, Ulmen, Helfrich, Lang and Hirt.
