I agree.

I've driven a black fully loaded C63 AMG today. Will post pics and videos soon!!! Here's a little 'teaser' of the car I drove. Crazy awesome :D

5-Series still looks beautiful after all those years & would definitely be my choice! Can't wait to see how new one stands against rivals! :usa7uh:

Motor Trend is known for being BMW biased, im not surprised ...;)

I hate to disagree, but that simply isn't true. At least not anymore (same thing with C&D). The M5 has taken it on the chin several times now, and they simply don't like the 7-Series at all. Motor Trend is not a BMW fan-mag like that anymore.

The only clear and unquestionable bias from American car magazines concerning BMW is with the 3-Series and rightly so if a sports sedan is what you, the best one in that segment.

If anything they have European car bias, placing all 3 German cars at the top. Not that they shouldn't be there IMO.

In San Diego, I had the opposite experience regarding dealers being accomadating.

When I went to the Jag dealership, the sales guy was very nice. Hell, he even showed me the DBS in the backroom (as it also was an A-M dealer, as I later happily found out). The guy in the Bimmer dealer answered all my questions even when he knew I wasn't in no financial situation to by a BMW towel rag, let alone a car. Later that day, the guy in the MB dealer was giving me the ol' heave-ho out of there when he said, that the new E sedan has not arrived yet, but, lo and behold, there was an E sedan out front. Hell, even in the Porsche dealer, the sales guy was more than willing to answer all my asinine questions regarding the Panamera and all the other beauties in that building. Mind you, I was dressed like a schlub when I went in to these dealerships.

Naruto, I think it's pitiful that the BMW dealer treated you in such a shabby manner, esp. when you were a paying customer in the past. Good salesmanship on trying to win you back, right?:eusa_doh:Nimrods are dime-a-dozen on this planet.

Regarding the current car selection from these choices, I'd go with the XF with the 5.0, that's until the new F10 comes out. Car magazines are enthusiast based, thus will score based on that. That's not to say that the other cars are lesser objects. I'm sure in the article itself, the author talks about each cars' attributes. It's up to the informed buyer on what (s)he wants in a daily driver, usually the number scored tells a tenth of an entire story. I doubt any of these cars will be pain in the back to drive, unless that person's got grape jelly for a spine...and in that case, deciding on car is that person's least concern.

^Yea, I am sure "come to me bitches" is the phrase they are waiting for. :D

Pretty much depends on what standard of women you are looking for..

Apparently you folks haven't been schooled on Women yet....Reason I call them bitches is cuz I don't know their names individually. Not to mention every chick out there hates being called a bitch, but **** them right and they love that shit in the bed. But I know my talk isn't going to go far on this forum, so I'll just leave it at that. ;)

Yes, sometimes it just depends on the sales person. Some just don't want their time wasted on a non-paying customer. Other see every customer as a opportunity.

When I worked in sales, I would actually avoid the "rich" looking folks. Usually they would come to the dealership just to view and never buy. Professional time wasters. On the other hand some people who "looked" as though they couldn't purchase a car, I would pay attention too and most of the time they would buy.

I've seen a lady come up to the dealership with a Bentley and stayed their for 3 hours talking about the Toyota Camry looks and then walked out the dealership with nothing but the Bentley she came in on.

What did you expect? Her to walk out with the Camry in a bag? :D

I didn't expect her to waste 3 hours of my friends time for nothing. I'm just happy I didn't try to help her. A lot of wealthy people purchased cars for their grandchildren from Toyota suprisingly so he though he could make a deal.

I actually had a customer that traded in his 3 series for a FJ Crusier. Odd things happen. Just thought the lady would have brought the car. Guess she just wanted to show the power of he Bentley...who knows. I actually have a picture of the one she was driving. I will try to post it later.

Haha, I did not know that you had inside information. I pictured you sitting outside of the Toyota dealer with a stopwatch :D
