1ST PLACE: Porsche Boxster
Building exceptional sports cars is something Porsche doesn't even think to do anymore. Its sole chink is to spend the money on the hardware and not the grade of the interior materials.

2ND PLACE: BMW Z4 3.0si
Our test car's sport suspension is worryingly thumpy on concrete, but the Z4's road-shark looks and cast-as-a-piece feel make it worth the wear. If you're craving a traditional front-engine/rear-drive sports car-bingo.

3RD PLACE: Audi TT 3.2 Quattro
In fairness, it's certainly the best sports car here for everyday commutes and crummy weather. But all its technical goodies-its double-clutch transmission, AWD, and the trio's highest torque-haven't added up to a compelling road experience.

Since they wanted the sportiest configuration then they should had tested the TT with S-Line package.:eusa_thin

Anyway i prefer the TT cause it's better for everyday use.;)

I only driven the new TT out of these three. I like the new TT but since I havent driven the others I cant make a choice which to pick.

for the facelifted Z4 there is only "si" versions. either 2.5si or 30.si. No sportpackage available just a sportsuspension.

Oh so there are only SI versions at the moment. That kind of bad for the ones who want a roadster with normal suspension.

I think it's funny - Here we are, a full 5 years after the debut of the Z4, and the car has finally gotten "journalistic acceptance" for its styling. If this review took place in 2003 the blurb would be something like "We're not sure about the Z4's oddball styling, but its driving dynamics managed to win us over."

Bangle and the gang can take a bow. The Z4 is entering its selldown phase and the styling is still a great piece of visual entertainment. Shame - I suspect the next Z car won't stick its neck out quite as far.

Saw a TT cabrio on the road last week. Good looking, but seems like a virtual nonevent with the A5 just showing up on the scene. I expect TTs to be selling at heavy discounts by this time next year.

My personal choice amongst these 3 would be the Boxster. Of course... if that were the case I'd spring for the Caymen instead. That car is gorgeous like two boobs and a good imagination.

But when you configure a 3,0Si you have the choise of M-sport chassis. I guess that would be quite redundant if the standard suspension was a sport suspension?

If they used a 2.0TFSI TT it might have been better. I think the 3.2 quattro's power delivery isn't as good as the 2.0TFSI.
