The Mercedes W196 that powered five-time world F1 champ Juan Manuel Fangio to two of those titles has sold for £19.6m at an auction at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car, which sat in a warehouse for 30 years and wears many of its battle scars, is the most expensive car ever sold at auction.
