MMI upgrade?

Can I upgrade my MMI system in my '04 A8L? Is it worth it? Will I gain anything by doing it? I still have the orginal nav disc and would like to get the new version but don't know if it will work unless I upgrade the MMI. My local dealership has a bunch of idiots working there so they are no help. Any help form you guys would be great.

I have no clue if you can just upgrade the system
my guess is that if you want this upgrade you'll have to
change the whole MMI computer system and software ++

This means it will costs more than what's it is worth.
I recomend you let it bee the way it is today and save up to a
car I know you would appreciate even more the
Alfa Romeo 8C
