S-Class (W220/C215) minor issues with s600

[VTXF]

I have just bought a 2004 S600 with 31K on the clock - the car is fully loaded.
What I would like to ask is whether any one knows how to operate DVD's and how to view these on the monitor in the rear. I have inserted non region coded DVD into the player in the boot of the car but the Command System religiously refuses to recognize or play them whether in the front or the back. Also cannot get the TV to work in the back - works fine in the front.
Any feed back from those more knowledgeable then me would be appreciated.

Good luck with yours. I just traded an S600 for a huge loss after only a few months and a few miles. Engine problems galore. MB could not fix it right

Yours was a 2000-2002 S600? That wasn't a very good engine, the 03- is much better.

I feel lucky to have the M120 still running quite good for my family!

thanks for your help and referral to other sites.
I am hoping and praying that this car is not a lemon. have some minor problems with the car but the dealer is very nice and is happy to fix these.
