Hot! MINI: What's Next?

Agree, except for those front lights. They’re an odd visual signature, but on the plus side, they’re clearly Rivian.
And in person they blow your mind, too pretty to be so innovative, like nothing else on the street, they were born with their own identity

I don't know who brought the Rivian here, it has nothing comparable with this Mini IMO, ahhhhh yes, I already know who brought it, instead why not open a thread about Rivian vs Mini, a thread that no one will enter

Because hardly anyone knows it outside of the U.S.

I've seen one in Norway. They were supposed to be building a service and distribution centre and Oslo last year. Amazon in Germany has started taking delivery of the Rivian EV van, they received 300 last year. It won't be long before all Amazon distribution hubs Europe wide will have them.

Well put. Proportions are strange. The rationale is probably: Let elongate and increase the height of a 5 door hatchback to make space for bigger batteries.

A neighbour has the new Countryman. It's better looking in real life I must say, but it's huge. Like a full class bigger than the previous gen.

I'll take a few pics if it's around later today.

I'd rather buy the BMW version, this is not a MINI anymore.

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
