Clubman MINI Traveller / Clubman spy pics

The Mini Clubman is a subcompact executive car engineered and manufactured by German automaker BMW and sold under the Mini marque from 2007-2024.
It's one of the options ...
The C-pillar paint matches the roof & side mirrors paint ...
Can also be eg. black ... Yet I haven't seen any in white. So, perhaps only silver and black, or perhaps even white after all. We'll get the info soon ...

:usa7uh:

Thank god it's an option. I don't like it at all.

I don't like the barn doors at the back, the strange looking silver colour coding and the strange asymmetric passenger side door arrangement. I get the uniqueness being the idea behind the concept but the execution leaves me emotionally unmoved...

I'll stick with the conventional little hatch.

Are the rear lights the real deal  Looks kinda strange to me.

Yes, they are. They look "strange" because the housing (the silver part around the cluster opens with the door wing ... Just like on a Traveller Concept:

I am looking and I am very angry ... Apparently there were hitchers on the road . These shots with the in car camera are to show how "The Other MINI"
Is still very much a MINI.

This particular little MINI has been along way from the bright neon of Tokyo - To Donuts in Manhattan ;) And clubbing in Berlin... Just off schedule ( we shot them each on a day) Will be a MINI Clubman in Cooper specification finished in delicious Hot Chocolate!

A pity it's next destination is the crusher!

Press release is Next month.

oh, i am confused. This design must be really complex and thus it will cost a lot, so mini clubman will be even more expensive than the regular one.

also this kind of door opening is a bit odd (?) so de we have any more pics of the concept?

I'm not sure about the silve bit around the rear lights, glad it's only an option!

2008 Mini Clubman Interior Exposed

The 2008 Mini Clubman has been spied up close and personal and Motor File has the photos. The photography captured by MF shows- up close might I add to you - the exterior of the vehicle in addition to the undisguised interior of the new Clubman.

The interior photographs reveal the Clubman's interior in its entirety in addition to a new "3rd door mechanism and the space it provides." Check out the photos and notice how you can enter the new Clubman from the split rear doors which will provide easy access to rear occupants of the vehicle.

In the power department, the new Clubman will utilize both the stock engine in the Cooper in addition to a turbocharged engine based on the Cooper S - which will be appropriately labeled the Clubman S. Look for the new Clubman to debut at the Frankfurt show in 2007.

BMW officials have finally released details for the new Mini Clubman stretch, less than two years after it was first displayed as a concept car. A longer wheelbase, vertically-split tailgate and a single suicide-style rear-opening door on the non-driver’s side differentiate the new Clubman from the regular Mini hatch.
The engine range kicks off with the base 1.6L naturally-aspirated petrol four-cylinder mill, which develops 120hp and 160Nm of torque. This is followed by the new 1.6L common-rail diesel with 110hp and 240Nm of torque and the turbo 1.6L petrol engine in the range topping Clubman S, which produces 175hp and 240Nm of torque. All three engines will be available with a six-speed manual as standard or an optional six-speed auto.
Pricing should be announced closer to the car’s sale launch early next year, according to the guys at Edmunds, and the final production version should make a showing at September’s Frankfurt Auto Show.

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
