Has reduced fuel consumption and emissions

MINI has introduced a new engine for their JCW lineup.
The turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine has same the output and torque as its predecessor, but has "substantially" reduced fuel consumption and emissions. In order to get these improved figures, the engine features an aluminum block, reinforced pistons and a low-weight crankshaft. There's also sodium-filled exhaust valves, an engine start/stop system and brake energy regeneration.
In the JCW Countryman, it produces 218 PS (160 kW / 215 hp) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque. In the rest of the lineup, the engine develops a maximum output of 211 PS (155 kW / 208 hp) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque.

The classic hatch looks best out of all of them. That's one big family though and growing too.

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
