BMW missed an opportunity in giving the roof a little bit more rake for a sporty fast-back profile.

I hope this is the correct thread...couldn't find a regular 4-door MINI thread.

Will there be a JCW version Scott27?

I am not sure they originally planned to stream line the MINI JCW family to just offer the 3dr,Cabrio and Countryman series as JCWs but then offer a more hardcore JCW of the 3dr and Countryman/Coupe.

This car is expected to be a home run for MINI
... Especially in eg. some markets like U.S. where BMW AG offer lacks a proper C-segment hatchback model. Unless the car is priced completely wrong ... I hope that won't be the case!

Mk2 Clubman is
now a C-segment car. So, a rival to Golf, Focus, 1er, A-class, A3 etc

So, it's more useful & practical than regular 5dr MINI hatch, it's more dynamic than Countryman since it's not as heavy & as tall, it's still very typically MINI funky, it's a premium car, it's special enough due to typical retro MINI styling and especially the barn-style hatch doors.

And at least until the Mk2 Countryman hits the markets Clubman is set to be the best selling MINI model.

Dimensions (L x W x H):
Mk1 Clubman : 3,960 mm x 1,684 mm x 1,425 mm
Mk2 Clubman*: 4,223 mm x 1,844 mm x 1,450 mm (+262mm x +160mm x +25mm)

*Concept version - production dimensions could differ for a single digit

MINI

Mini (stylized as MINI) is a British automotive brand founded in 1969, owned by German BMW since 2000, and used by them for a range of small cars assembled in the United Kingdom, Austria, and the Netherlands. The word Mini has been used in car model names since 1959, and in 1969 it became a brand in its own right when the name "Mini" replaced the separate "Austin Mini" and "Morris Mini" car model names.
