Michael Schumacher in critical condition following skiing accident

Very very sad news for this guy and his family, I hope and pray that will make a recovery

In an other article I've posted was reported not the hit caused the injuries but the cam on his helmet. If it really true it would be more tragedy in my eyes.

Michael Schumacher's manager says the F1 legend is improving.

The seven time world champion has not been seen publicly since striking his head on a rock whilst skiing almost 17 months ago.

"We are happy to say (he) still improves and I say this always regarding the severity of the injury he had," manager Sabine Kehm was quoted as saying on Friday.

Kehm was being interviewed for an event to launch a carbon fibre Audemars Piguet watch that Schumacher was involved in designing prior to his skiing accident.

"Of course," she was quoted by the Swiss daily Le Temps, "the fight will take a very, very long time for everybody involved, and we are happy to take this fight" on.

I wish he wins this fight and make a full recovery. At 44, he is still much too young to die or spent the rest of his life confined to a wheelchair.

I guess this guy could outrun the most of us in a wheelchair, and if he makes good recovery, he'll outrun us track as well...

I think we all knew deep down that this was the likely outcome.

Very sad.

He has had such an extraordinary life.

It serves to remind us that your entire life can change in an instant.
Life is a gift, and,we do not control the levers even though we will like to think we control our destiny
