Same thing with the S400 Hybrid,they showed it with the pre-FL first.Also same case with BMW's M3 sedan it was out first with the pre-FL just before the FL.

If you think the M3 sedan and this is the same we look at it differently. But we always do so what's new, right?

Also, the S400 Hybrid wasn't on sale when the showed the car as a pre-facelift model, so that clearly was only to show they have the tech ready. When it is available for sale, it's only as the FL model.
So that's completely different too

BMW showed the E90 M3 very shortly before the FL,we felt bad for those who just got the old looking M3 when the new FL was shortly released after,here with this new package we all know that this is gonna make for the FL due shortly.They are previewing the new kit.
