Mercedes introduces the Citan Crewbus, announces several new engines

Goes on sale next spring

Mercedes has introduced the 2014 Citan Crewbus.
Set to go on sale next spring, the Citan Crewbus is an extra-long variant that offers seating for up to seven people thanks to two individual third-row seats that can be folded down or removed altogether. It was designed to appeal to companies that handle commercial passenger transport or commercial cargo transport.
Mercedes announced plans to offer a couple of new engines in the Citan. First up, the €17,130 Citan 111 CDI comes equipped with a 1.5-liter diesel that develops 110 HP (81 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 12.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 170 km/h (105 mph).
Likewise, the Citan 112 starts at €15,810 and has a 1.2-liter petrol engine that cranks out 112 HP (84 kW). This allows the van to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 173 km/h (107 mph).

Not sure if this is posted before. However, the front of this odd wagon is trying to imitate the styling cues of the W222 S class. Totally look out of place.

This photo is manipulated so good, that now that I am looking at it and someone asked me what would I like to drive around the Ring right now, I'd probably ask for a Citan or maybe go big and say Sprinter, instead of a 458 Italia.
