Thanks... I am really impressed with the fit and finish and quality.

To get the GL faster all Greg had was a loaded GL550 in Obsidian Black on Black. Well I never liked black (inside or out) but once I got used to it there was no turning back. The SL and now the C are Black on Black.

Good thing you did not plan on driving out to pick this one up. 36 inches of snow on I70 would have made for a long nervous trip both ways.

Garage looks great right now, sure you don't want to keep the SL???

Weekend... what's that.. every day is Saturday...

I told my rep if I had decided to pick it up in Denver I would have been right in the middle of that mess. When I took delivery of my S550, Denver weather was nice but I got up toward Vail and there was a small blizzard going on. I was one scared new car owner

Driver hit all kinds of weather but before he dropped off the car, he took it to the car wash nearby... said he just could not deliver a dirty car. Tipped him well and thanked him.

The SL is history... waiting for a pickup in the next day or two.

So, it was good in Las Vegas too right. I just got back from a drive in the S430, and it would've been better in the SL.

Took it for it's last ride earlier in the day with the top down... a really sweet ride for sure!

It is not a case of "can't" but one of I don't need it with the C. Too much car value sitting idle in the garage at any one time....

Give me a day or two to get things organized and the Canon will get a workout. My prime lady-friend is leaving for NY tomorrow morning for a week so I will have time for other interests.

Took the car on a 50 mile jaunt this AM and I was impressed. Handles very nicely and the fit and finish is really excellent. A little firm ride but with the 18" AMG wheels and low profile tires that is to be expected. The NAV is a big improvement over the dated SL system... the C NAV is very close to the S550 I had.
