I much prefer the older door handles, I'm not into these recessed and pop out handles. The older ones felt great when you pull the door to open. Good quality and smooth opening.

It really isn't. Your A pillar is a complete and utter mess. We gotta be honest with each other, this has nothing to do with reality.

Besides the A pillar looking a bit EQ-ish, I don’t see anything off tbh. Perhaps the rear could be more coupe-ish as the spy photos suggest.

I think the C pillar and rear shoulder looks a bit off to my eye. Also not sure they're going to have the black grille surround.

Yeah I see. The silhouette and some main elements are directly copied from the teaser image. It’s just a render anyways, not a big deal. Lol.

M-B's present fanfare regarding new il6 and V8 ICEs may herald a party that is not only myopic and shortlived, but may come with the price of a massive hangover.

i think the inline 6 & V8 engine are gonna do well for aslong as they can put them in:
C-class
E-class
GLC
GLE
GLS
They should consider putting the GLC450d OM656 in the C-class too, would be a nice as a top of the line diesel.

Thank God we have the last 20 pages of people talking about powerful V8 and I6 engines......which will be non factors for the largest markets on the planet (EU and China). Black Series and Mythos and whatnot are just utterly meaningless in the grander scheme of things, and MB focusing on this only highlights how lost they are.

MB is thoroughly f#cked up, and this marketing campaign they've started only highlights their weak position.

C63 and E63 are not getting the V8. Just the CLE. Later it will trickle down to other high end models like S, GLE, GLS etc. People wrote about this already.

In the new AMS they have been able to drive the new S580 from the passenger seat, Flatplane sound has been confirmed as the Crossplane sound from the Burmester.

The C63 has been confirmed as well.

The reliability issues and lower customer satisfaction ratings I think also should be addressed by Mercedes Benz, they have far too many recalls and also they are low ranked on the reliability and customer satisfactions indexes. Quality and workmanship need to be upped to good levels like in the days of the W124/126 etc.

Yes but that level of build won’t happen at today’s volumes. A lot of those cars back then were reworked by hand when a defect was detected. The reliability aspect would be addressed by more development time imo. This they can do but with so much cost cutting happening right now I don’t see how it would. Better quality and reliability costs more money up front, Mercedes seems to be willing to spend the money on the back end under warranty costs. A bad strategy.
