I've never wanted a SL600, clearly the most "graddaddyish" of the SL range, but the white one above is just right. I just hope this silver plastic piece isn't the only choice for the AMG models:

Ok this is much better. Body color for this piece.

Shame on MB fans for doubting Mercedes' facelift of the SL. This thing is going to set MB dealer showrooms afire all across the U.S. come May.

Holy mother of god. Those pictures are off the chain. At first I didn't like the non AMG models but now I have fully warmed up to them. Just when the CL was my biggest love I have now found myself a mistress and have committed adultery.

Merc fans rejoice!! MB has accomplished the impossible, made the SL more desirable. This is going to be the car of the year and the dealerships won't have problems selling these babies for the next 3-4 years.

The SL600 has never looked so good, so desireable. The SL600 is the only SL I haven't wanted since the R230 debuted, until now.

I'm not so keep on the painted diffuser on the SL600 together with the quad-like pipes the rear bumper isn't entirely perfect. Still a very attractive car though. I'm heavily curious to see the next gen SL, how possibly can you beat this!!

Yeah that diffuser is a little bit much. I just hope it doesn't move around at high speed like I've seen on other cars.

I'm guessing the entire U.S. media attended the same event, some more pics from LLN. They had some older model SLs there too.



Not as pretty as before, but somehow it looks just as good if not better. Looks more up to date,
fresher.

OK guys I was just thinking - these are the US models right? So where are those ugly side orange positioning lights they allways put on the side of the front bumpers for the US models?


Oh and the this facelifted SL is the winner. It looks much better than the pre - facelifted one.

Actually it is a mixture. Some of them say SL500 and some say SL550, with of course the SL550 being U.S. ones.
