It looks like AIRSCARF is standard on the SL, at least in the U.S.

I finally got to see the new SL this morning when picking my car up. The car is breathtaking in real life. Mercedes has really improved the fit and finish of the interior too. The hood is long as hell now too. The love affair with the SL, for me starts all over again. A 09 SL550 Silver Arrow Edition, CL65 and CLS550....I nearly passed out in the showroom.

I just checked the MBUSA homepage. Airscarf isn't standard, you get it with the $4,470 premium package!!! Also here in germany, it isn't a standard option. You have to pay for it - even in the 600 and 65 AMG models!!!
