The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013. Finally has that stately presence again, as the w222 did.
 
Oh my god, they've completely removed the wood from the interior and put in screens – a massive cost-cutting move. The interior is exactly the same as the E-Class. It's a huge step backward in terms of interior design, but it doesn't matter because Mercedes fanboys will like it anyway, and then they'll come and talk about BMW's cost-cutting in lower segments.

It's just the hyper screen we already saw with the now old EQS as well, it doesn't seem to be any newer or better tech ?

Yes, they've used the hyperscreen we saw in the E Class and EQS. It's a big mistake to use a part they've been using for so long in the S Class. At least they should have opted for the hyperscreen from the GLC EV. Even with the facelift, the Mercedes S Class currently looks technologically older than the GLC EV.
