If you don’t need the latest toys, the 222 is probably the better car, especially as a Mopf.

I honestly think the improvements in the ride and NVH of the W223 are notable enough for customers particular perceptive or appreciative of these aspects.

Maybe I finally fall into the S-class demographic, so there are enough improvements with the W223 FL for me to want to upgrade our 223. Particularly if the ride and NVH have been further improved.

As for my dad, there's really no need for anything beyond what the W222 offered. That said he loves the W223 just the same and appreciates the improvements with the augmented HUD, driver assistance tuning and Ui for the central screen.

Well eventually the Sensual Purity design philosophy will die, that was the whole point of the sketch. Kinda reimagining the older, boxy Benz sedans, in a different way. If we make the roof and the grille less squared, it still looks like a regular Benz, at least to my eyes.
I also really wanna design a Benz with vertical headlights, something reminiscent of W111 and W108.

Remember when you tried to tell me to chose my words? Coming in hot with a “duh” doesn’t help your case. I merely said it doesn’t look like a Mercedes. The EQ question is a pivot and is irrelevant. It was a car made by Mercedes, not something you came up with. Yeah they actuality do have some Mercedes DNA in their broad expanses of sheet metal. They’re still ugly cars but even the least attractive Mercedes can have the brands DNA. No future Mercedes is going to look your works.

We know where MB is heading, and it is apparently the new chief designers evolution of Sensual Purity.

Regardless of whatever we think on this forum, Mercedes has already said Gordon's hand extends into the next 10 years of design. 6 or 7 realisticly IMO.

But for F's sake... and I really only want to have to make this point once.... if you see a member acting like a total twat (and that DOESN'T include saying something bad about a car or brand you like - but WOULD include calling people a whore), the correct thing to do, is to ignore it, and/or report it. If you choose to respond by being a total twat yourself you make it much harder for the mods to only act against that person, and not you as well - you can't complain about someone insulting you if you then insult them a few posts later (I am really specifically aiming this comment at at least 2 long term members)...
