S-Class (W223) Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223) Facelift 2024

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.
I don't think they'll remove the e-performance add-on from the S63. Perhaps it could be converted into a long-range hybrid like the E53. Removing e-performance would mean throwing away all the investment.

I mean it could just be a case that they'll make a regular, non-AMG V8 PHEV with actual EV range.
Something like 525PS V8 + 125PS E-motor and 25kWh battery

Some, speculative information regarding the FL W223. Please don't shoot the messenger! lol

1. The S63 will come with a significantly simplified variant, maybe without much going on in terms of electrics, making it more suitable for more global markets and more appealing from a weight POV.
2. The Manufactur program will be expanded significantly for LWB cars in more global markets.
3. The grill is somewhat like the GLC EV in overall shape, but, 'Much more elegant. A bit Bentley like'.
4. Reveal will be first half of 2026 for summer deliveries in Europe.

This all sounds pretty great. We will keep you alive for now.

Why would that be less complicated?

Why would that be less complicated?
Less obtuse suspension geometry that's more focused on comfort, rather than having to stride across two different remits. The P3 set-up itself is a bit more complicated as it is 'F1 inspired' or whatever, than a P2 set up where the e motor is just shunted into the transmission.

I dunno. Just speculation.

A milder S63 supposedly without the AMG sport package, yet AMG stated back in June of this year that it would further distinguish itself
from its Mercedes siblings because this is what customers want.

“Customers love the distinctive AMG look and the differentiation it brings,” Schiebe told Motor Trend. “Our future cars will be more expressive in that dimension. If you look into the future, I would say you can expect cars that will be more visually differentiated—AMG will be doubling down on design. Our design language will be more expressive.”

Personally I am all for this. Mercedes needs to focus on bringing quality back to the S with this face/lift.
No more creaking plastics to the touch and glossy finishes. The S needs to shine here in a good way and bring back customers it has lost to the competiton. If its anything like the W214 E-Class, it will be on a positive note already. It will get better from here onwards I believe.
