I don't understand why MB can't provide higher-resolution pictures of their most beautiful Designo interiors.

I agree, it does have an Italian like style doesn`t it! Looking at it that way I guess I would order the Designo interior with my S65 AMG. I like the dark wood though. A black S65 would look beautiful with the first two colors!

S550 at Hoover Dam/Lake Mead

Here are a couple of shots I took this morning. The location is at Hoover Dam which provides a link between Nevada and Arizona. The dam, built in 1931-35, created Lake Mead which gathers the waters of the Colorado River and provides a great deal of power to the west coast. There were so many tourists on the Arizona side I could not find a spot to park so these were shot from the Nevada side. I included a shot of the dam and the lake so you can get oriented as to where I took the car shots. Additional images are at my www.nevadajack.us site in the S550 II album.

What an internet personality you are becoming Jack. The car, gorgeous as always!

Great pictures Jack. You should've let someone take pictures of you as you crossed the Hoover Dam :usa7uh:

I sat in an S600 at the New York Auto Show, what a car indeed. Very comfortable in the front and in the back. I also played a little bit with COMAND III, I found it very easy to use.

My pictures are not as great as yours, but I tried :

That's right, I'm off road :D

And an S550's tailight:

Good job Yaz...the seats are comfortable I agree. I went through the adjustments and it's like sitting in a form fitted custom chair. Also, COMAND is very intuitive.

I have not seen a S600 but the pictures of the interiors are something else.

Amazing pictures Jack, you are good at finding a background to make your car look awesome!

I went to the Hover Dam on holiday, an amazing place and an engineering master piece for the time it was built!

GANGSTAAA
Whoa without that body kit the car would look totally sinister with the tints and super smoked lights.

Man, thats pretty awesome! The S-Class is one of the few cars that look really good with blacked out taillights.

I like this interior color. It`s a nice alternative to the typical tans and grays.

I agree...looks like a nice chocolate brown...Designo color I think.

I was thinking more of silver look, to me CF doesn't look very good in car interiors!

well you can get black wood..wich is pretty sporty imo..

PS
that designo chocolate is hot:D
