Does anyone else here feel the SWB version is out of proportion?

Yeah the SWB versions look a bit out of proportion in the photos, i think the rear overhang is too long, and the way the rear wheel arch extends into the rear doors makes the car appear to have a even shorter wheelbase. The way the rear wheel arch flares at the back also makes the tail section looks longer.. that is what i think anyway, here is a photo, SWB S63, it doesn't look as bad as the black one.

just look at this beauty.. with Kleemann kit and brabus rimms..

Bombaclot that's hot!!!!

Tighest after market kit, I'd equip mine with Lorinser Turbine rims though.

What's so funny about this picture Artist? I don't understand your kind of humour! :D

AMG Kit still looks good...

Shot these a day or two ago...seems to be taking on a classic look to me:)

Great lines and in proportion all around. The stock AMG kit still looks best to me over the aftermarket kits. I would have loved the GL but this car is in a class by itself...

Re: AMG Kit still looks good...

Absolutely great pictures of your white S-Class, Jack! White is just perfect for the S-Class. Sadly, white only comes to prestigiousness on sunny days.

Thanks ree...here is Las Vegas we have 300+ sunny days so it is a great place for a White S...:-)

The S still looks great, I still haven't seen a white S class in the flesh though!

Short blurb from AutoWeek on the S600:

OUR TAKE: Driving an S550 never left us screaming for more power, but the twin-turbo V12 is nothing short of amazing. With four adults aboard, this baby passes on the freeway like a BMW M Roadster with one person and an empty gas tank.

For being such a large car, body motions are well controlled and handling is tight. It never feels as if you’re piloting such a long and heavy piece of equipment. We especially appreciated the massive brakes and their ability to scrub off the incredible speeds the V12 is capable of attaining.

Spend some time in an S-Class, and you’ll likely wonder why Mercedes decided to invest in Maybach. There are as many luxury appointments and electronics as you can fit on four wheels. Our only gripe is the lack of an iPod input.

Wow...just notice that the S 600 got a new exhaust...

I don`t know if I like those exhaust tips. If you looks closer you can see one part is closed. Is this really a change for the S600s exhaust?

(I still rather see the S600 with the sport package as standard)

I saw an S600 today with those exhausts, I thought it was an after market job till I saw your pics.

I'm with Luw on this one, I like the previous tips better.
