I think our good friend Nevada Jack has met his match in photography skills and in sheer stunningness (is that a word?) of S-Class.

M

This is a fantastic car with the images to match. I saw these on MBWorld and agree the photo work is excellent. I see a reflection in one shot of the camera and it looks like a pro DSLR with a very nice lens. His images are nicely lit and taken from great angles. The pictures show the S Class off to it's maximum beauty and finish.

Black or White, S550 or S600, Mercedes has done itself proud with this stunning car.

:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap for the pictures and the S Class:usa7uh:

I had been waiting for you to see this and chime in. Yes Mercedes has done the S right this time. You can tell what type of camera he has by a reflection, you're a true professional. Would you ever consider a S600 or a CL550?

M

BTW
NevadaJack, are the instruments (speedo and others) grey or more light blue? Because in some pics they look blueish and in other shots (like the ones above from MBWorld) they're more greyish...

Thanks Merc 1...:-)

No on the 600 or CL. I really don't like the interior setup for coupes...I like the styling but that folding rear seat is not to my liking. If I do get another car it may be an SL but that is several years away...:-)

They look almost white to me...never really concentrated on that. The Speedo is a screen display with great detail so it may appear different colors based on the lighting.

I don't mean the needles but the background "arch" which has the white markings that point to the numbers.

The entire speedo display is an LCD image. Here is a close up showing the coloring. The spaces are grey but the numbers and speed markers are white. The display changes with the information presented...sometime you only get half a needle. Is that what you were looking for?

^Yep, That's what I was looking for, so they are grey. Thank you so much!:usa7uh:

As Jimmy Durante (that goes back a long way) used to say..."I got a million of em..."

NevadaJack re-raises the "bar" with his latest pic. The de-badged 600 cowers in the corner as Jack brings out the 50,000 pixel camera. Forget ordering a new CL, I'm going to order a new Nikon.

Mercedes will be using these pictures in their new ad campaign.

I love this thread. A lot of nice photos of a really terrific car. I found this picture on the internet. (Is it a repost?)

Look at these rims! They would be great on NevadaJack's S550.

Damn man, those rims are. :icondrool :icondrool :icondrool
Are they new or are they AF rims?

They are 19' inch and it is a incenio-designwheel. This rim is called "Denebola"!

This is a photo I found on the German Mercedes-Website:

Wallpaper, you can get on mbusa.com

I know that this is normally the wrong section for this picture, but the CL has also these incenio-wheels.
