An absolute mess...I already posted some comments on MBW. Pimp My Ride could do a better job! What are they trying to prove and to who?

Everyone is trying to improve on a pretty good design by MB and all they end up doing is trying to one-up the competition, and in the end produce junk!

these small tuners cant do crap..
the larger tuners have som class..they do it right..
like the Brabus,Carlsson and Kleemann S classes are pretty damn nice..
but still when it all comes around..AMG beats em all..

you know i was wanting to wait for the Panamera.. but its to much of a wait..and to much uncertainty over price and design..
Ile be done with my C class 1 year from now..
And im seriously concidering a S class.. until that maybe the Bluetec engines have debuted so that could be a option.. or regular gasoline will have to do
So to answer you question..it will most likely be the S..i belive

Regular S class..but gotta have the AMG package..its a must..it does very much for the car..
Without imho it looks very heavy and bulky beacuse of the huge wheel arches.. but with the AMG it all looks in harmony..and the car gains presence..

i just found out that the swedish MB site has the S450 and S420 CDI in the programme now
here are some info:
S450: 340Hp 0-100: 5.9 838K swedish
S420: no info yet..but its in the configurator..but when u press it doesent proceed
...
So this is gr8 we have 350,450,500,600,65 and 320CDI,420CDI..
now bring on the S63 and the Bluetecs

Diesel or gasoline?

I'd suggest you to go for a diesel, you know you cannot be wrong if you do so.

Any of the German trio with diesel engine is unbeatable!

Black or silver S 420CDI, with AMG styling and some nice 19" rims and that's it.

you know i would love that to happen
but here in sweden you are looking at it this way:

S500: Tax approx 220-270 euro.. gas price same as diesel almost.. but this one is more thirsty..
S420 CDI: Tax approx 1000euro.. diesel price the same.. but less thirsty..

In other words i would have to drive like crazy to make it benefitial to have a diesel in stupid sweden.. so it will be petrol.. or maybe bluetec diesel wich should get some tax reduction even here in sweden..

That S looks hot, the AMG kit is a must for the S!!

I have yet to see a dark coloured S with the AMG kit, they all seem to be silver over here!

BTW, The Artist, glad to see you are getting a new S, would be a huge step up from your current C! Seeing as a E63 would be similar money, would you ever consider getting one of those?

I had a S500 W220 before this C class.. so this is just like a middle car for me.. its gr8 actually.. costs me alot less to run.. its like a well needed break..haha
anyways.. E63 is nothing for me.. i want a huge car if i lay down that kind of money.. S suits me perfectly..
