Maybe MB are introducing trims for the S-class.

S550: Double fog + three slant grill
S600: LED + 4 slant grill

There must be some way they'll be deciding what car will have the double fogs and which will have LEDs.

Kind of annoying given that the grill with the fewer slats looks far more fresh!

This FL looks incredible...
My God, the upper-class buyers will have one hell of a choice: the new 7er is a gem, the S-Class is better than ever and will be even better than that with the FL... The A8 will change (well it looks ugly so far, but time will tell)...

I'm so eager to see the FL 221, we see it will look ten times better, but will it have the Pre-Scan suspension, what will they do to improve the interior... I'm so eager to see the new 7er IRL, too... These two will make killer comparos.

That's what I want. Double fogs shouldn't be on the S550. The S350 is not for sale in the USA right?

I wonder why such extensive testing then. Surely they can't be that worried the new grill and headlights will melt in the sun.

I think MB will have lots of goodies on this FL to give a definitive answer back to the new 7. I think this S will get EVERYTHING the new E does and then some maybe.

Prescan would be amazing in this class and I really hope its ready for series production.

I don´t see any of the Mercedes line up model having double fogs, that would be an indreible mistake. So maybe different grilles with different number of slats, but no double fogs.

The rear is definitely going to need some chrome strips in the tail lights, or else the rear will look a bit bloated.

If so..then AMAZING..cause that tech could easily be the highlight of a brand new modell..

getting pressure from the new 7-series perhaps , MB realize a simple facelift isn't enough.
