1928 Mercedes-Benz 26/120/180 PS Typ S Tourenwagen
Mercedes designated the Model S (S = Sport) as a racing car. This high performance sports car was also available for sale and initiated the era of the S model series. The three horsepower figures in the model designation indicate the fiscal horsepower, the actual horsepower and the horsepower with Kompressor ratings. 146 units were made from 1927 to 1928.
6-cylinders, 6800cc, 120-horsepower (180 with Kompressor) @ 3000 RPM, 160 km/h top speed

1923 Mercedes 10/40 PS Sport Zweisitzer

The 1923 Mercedes 10/40 PS was the world's first standard production car with a supercharged engine. The supercharger, still called "blower" in 1923, supplied the small displacement engine with more air , thereby temporarily boosting output from 40-horsepower to 65-horsepower.
4-cylinders, 2614cc, 40-horsepower (65 with Kompressor) @ 2800 RPM, 110 km/h top speed

1928 Mercedes-Benz 27/170/225 PS Typ SSK Sport Zweisitzer
The SSK was specifically designed for hillclimb races. The short wheelbase of this Super-Sport-Kurz (SSK) version endured greater agility on narrow hairpin bends. More than any other car, the SSK established the fame of the brand despite only 35 units being produced from 1928-1932.
6-cylinders, 7065cc, 170-horsepower (225 with Kompressor) @ 3300 RPM, 192 km/h top speed

1932 Mercedes-Benz LO 2000 Diesel Pritschenwagen
The world's first light duty truck with a diesel engine, the LO 2000 prepared the ground for the automotive diesel engines final breakthrough. It was also the first diesel-engined truck to be offered by Mercedes-Benz, specially tailored to the wishes of small operators. With its payload capacity of roughly two tons, it would today be allocated to the van category.

1936 Mercedes-Benz 500K Spezial Roadster
The Mercedes-Benz 500K was the car for the rich and beautiful. Together with the representative Grand Mercedes, the elegant 500K sports car was the brands showpiece in the late 1930s. Of the eight different bodywork versions of the 500K, the special roadster was the most appealing, the most elegant and at a price of 28,000 Reichsmark (roughly 98,000 Euros), the most expensive. 342 were produced of which only 7 survive today.
8-cylinders, 5018cc, 100-horsepower (160 with Kompressor) @ 3400 RPM, 160 km/h top speed

1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet B
The 540K was the more powerful successor to the 500K. It was offered with different bodywork versions of which the Convertible B was by far the most popular variant. In terms of appearance, it was difficult to distinguish from the 500K, depending on variant and model year. 419 units were produced from 1936-1939.

1937 Mercedes-Benz 770 "Großer Mercedes" Offener Tourenwagen

The Grand Mercedes was the representative car of the 1930s and 1940s. Kings, heads of state and industrial leaders, but also members of the Nazi party regime favored this luxurious supercharged limousine. The touring car shown here belonged to Otto Wolff von Amerongen, a German industrialist (Otto Wolff von Amerongen) - Wikipedia. The 770 was also available in armored versions and a modified engine that with the help of the Kompressor could produce 400-horsepower. 117 units were produced from 1930 to 1938.

1938 Mercedes-Benz 260D Pullman Limousine
The Mercedes-Benz 260D was the world's first mass produced diesel-engined passenger car. It was particularly economical because its engine consumed little fuel and operated on favorably priced diesel. In the Pullman sedan version, the 260D was the ideal taxi and also in great demand as a sedan for travelling long distances.
4-cylinders, 2545cc, 45-horsepower @ 3000 RPM, 95 km/h top speed.
